Another new member to the Vestavia Hills Fire Department. Please welcome Gavin Long to the city. He comes to us from Pleasant Grove where he served for the past 7 years. He also works with the Argo Fire Department. Gavin is assigned to A - Shift at Station 1 on the North end of Highway 31.

Our goal is to continually provide higher levels of service to the citizens of Vestavia Hills. We have placed in service the fourth ALS Rescue / Transport staffed with paramedic firefighters. Rescue 34 will be housed at Station 4 in Liberty Park.
