The Lady Raiders get their first win (1-4-1) of the season tonight, defeating the Lady Rebels 7-0.

The Lady Raiders will be back in action next Wednesday at home against Rising Sun.

The Lady Raiders are doing a prize raffle.
We’re teaming up with Raiders volleyball team to raise money for a special cause close to our hearts, helping our senior players with their Pay It Forward project. Funds raised will help purchase special pink IHSAA-approved uniforms so our team can proudly show our support for those affected by cancer.

PRIZES INCLUDE:
Top prize: South Ripley Sports Pass — 2 Adult Passes ($150 value!)
2nd prize: Fall Gift Basket — $100 value!
3rd prize: Raider Wear

Today is our first official practice of the season for Girls Soccer. We will have a quick meeting in Mr. Green's room at 3, then head to the soccer field. Be ready to go!

If any girl is interested in soccer, please see Mr. Green or Mrs. Demaree at school tomorrow. We are looking for a few more girls who want to play a fall sport.

We have a big week of summer soccer. The girls travel to Shelbyville for a scrimmage on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. We will host Jennings County on Thursday for a scrimmage at 6:00 p.m. If you have no plans, please come out and support the Lady Raiders soccer team!

Some upcoming events for the girls include holding a raffle for a family pass (along with a few gift baskets) starting the first week of the school year that will raise money for pink jerseys. The pink jerseys will be worn as we will host a pink-out soccer home game that will help raise funds for the annual Dig-Pink volleyball game! We are excited to team up with the volleyball team and help the community raise money for individuals fighting cancer.

We are in the process of opening an online store for any fan, staff, or parent to purchase Lady Raider Girls Soccer apparel. We will share that information once the store is open and ready for orders!

Thanks for supporting our program, and remember, "It is always a great day to be a Raider."

The Lady Raiders soccer team spent time giving back to our community, volunteering to help put together a week’s worth of food for each child and loading it into cars for local families.
Such an amazing and rewarding experience for everyone involved! Thank you to Summer Meals and the staff at SR for all the organizing and hard work you put into our community and schools.
As our wise admins always say, “It’s a great day to be a Raider!” And today, we truly showed what it means to be "Raider Kind."
