⚾️🏆 FIRST TOURNAMENT OF THE SZN! 🏆⚾️

The 10U Junior Cavs brought home their FIRST tournament championship this weekend — and we couldn’t be more proud of this group of boys.

These players showed what Junior Cavs baseball is all about - hustle, teamwork, grit, and having FUN! This one means a little extra - every rep, every practice and every moment spent working together led to this milestone for our program.

Way to represent the red and black, boys. The future is bright for Junior Cavs Baseball! ❤️🖤⚾️

These guys showed up to school today like they have a doubleheader after math class - repping the Junior Cavs loud and proud for Sports Day!

Honestly, we’re not sure if they are heading to recess or warming up for the first pitch… but either way—they understood the assignment.⚾️

It’s more than just uniforms.
It’s backyard reps, team practices, learning the game, and growing up side by side.

Moments like this are what youth sports are all about—
brotherhood, confidence, and a whole lot of heart.

📅 Evaluation Details
Date: Tuesday, August 5th, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM (Check-in by 5:45 PM) – Registration will remain open until 7:30 pm for those that have conflicts
Location: Veterans Park – 113 Lincoln St, Verona, WI 53593

⚾ What to Bring:

Glove, bat, helmet, and cleats
Water bottle
Baseball-appropriate gear (pants encouraged)
A great attitude and effort!
After check-in, players will be grouped by age. We kindly ask parents to return to the parking lot or observe from a distance to help players stay focused and reduce distractions.

Hitting
Fielding
Baserunning/Speed
Pitching/Catching (Optional):
Pitching/catching evaluations will follow the group session. We typically assess pitchers who have thrown in 10+ games and consistently throw strikes. However, anyone interested is welcome to participate.

The Junior Cavs battled strong teams, extreme heat and strong players in Baraboo this weekend and took home some hardware. 9U finished in 3rd and 10U finished in 2nd. We are so proud of these boys! Go Cavs! ⚾️⚾️
