The VBMS Tomahawks defeated Gifford 4–3 in a thrilling match last night! 🔥

Loc Phan made VBMS history by scoring our school’s FIRST-EVER soccer goal, assisted by Connor O’Neal! Loc later added another goal, while Evan Williams found the net with an assist from Loukas Stoupakis.

After Gifford battled back to tie it 2–2, Connor O’Neal answered with an incredible 40-yard solo strike to put the Tomahawks back on top! 🤯⚽ Loc closed out the scoring with his second goal, assisted by Axel Nuno following an O’Neal corner kick.

Our defense, Emma Reed, Logan Lindgren, Richard Vasquez, and goalkeeper Dinh Le, stood strong against a tough and experienced Gifford team to secure the WIN! 💪🏽
