MEET ROBIN 🏋🏻♂️
Leann and Gerimiah asked a few questions so you can get to know Robin a little better.
Q: What first got you into personal training?
A: I was studying business but realized I wanted to do something I truly loved. I prayed on it. Fitness started as something for me and turned into a passion for helping others, so I switched my major to exercise science. I was a trainer first and a business owner second, which is kind of funny.
Q: What’s your favorite part about being a trainer?
A: Seeing people fall in love with their own fitness journey and being a part of it.
Q: Ten years ago you were training, now you’re an owner — what’s next?
A: The goal is always growth. God willing, I want to open more RBN locations so I can help more people on their fitness journey and continue building strong communities.
Q: What’s one thing you’ve learned that others could learn from?
A: Don’t listen to people who doubt you. There will always be negativity. Keep your eyes on God, pick up your cross, and keep going. Some things are out of your control. Surrender them and don’t worry.
Q: What’s your favorite type of class to teach?
A: Lower body, for sure. That’s definitely my black belt area.
Q: What’s your least favorite fitness myth?
A: That carbs are bad for you. Your body needs good carbs. Let carbs fuel your workouts and let protein do its job which is building and repairing muscle.
