Some days are tough and that is the thing about salmon fishing — every trip has the chance to turn into one you’ll never forget. Early mornings, long runs, good company, and the excitement of never knowing when the next rod is going to bury.

The clients who stay passionate, keep learning, and enjoy every moment on the water are usually the ones who end up connected to a giant salmon. And when it happens, there’s nothing else like it.

There is talk of the Columbia opening back up for salmon so if you want to get on list to get out if it does get ahold of me… There is also summer steelhead to be caught now through July and it’s never to early to get your B10 or local fall chinook days on the books!!!!🤙🎣

This Springer season has been filled with first salmon memories being made! This young man was very impressive as he picked up the routine immediately and quickly became my unexpected deckhand. I know he is going to make it places in life and seeing his passion for this sport gives me hope that it is going to carry on past my lifetime!

Nice morning on the water — wrapped up an early Spring Chinook limit and enjoyed some solid action along the way. Always good to see a few quality fish come over the rail and I even got the opportunity to catch one!

I’ve still got a few openings starting tomorrow and some availability through May if anyone’s been thinking about getting out. Fishing conditions are shaping up well and it’s a great time to be on the river.

All gear is provided — just bring a good attitude and be ready for a good day on the water.

The Columbia season is over but its not to late to get your chance as the Spring Chinook season has just begun!

I have days available for the Willamette River through April before I start chasing these fish up to Wind River and Drano lake. There is a chance at a few more days on the Columbia as well if you would like to get on the call list for that!!!!
