Morning coffee and reflecting on the journey at Hideaway Hill ☕🌲

As we continue shaping this land near Van Etten in the Finger Lakes, we started organizing the story of the project through the highlights iconed below. Each one represents a piece of the bigger vision that’s slowly coming to life.

THE LAND – the woods, trails, and quiet spaces that make this place special
BERRY FARM – plans for strawberries, blueberries, and growing food on the land
MAPLE SEASON – tapping trees and learning from the forest each spring
SOLAR POWER– exploring renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure
LOCAL PARTNERS – connecting with nearby farms, breweries, and makers
ORBIT BOWLS – bringing our food truck story into the mix with farm-to-bowl ideas

Together these highlights tell the evolving story of Hideaway Hill becoming a small agri-tourism and outdoor retreat in the Finger Lakes.

A little glimpse of what’s happening at Hideaway Hill 🌲🍁

We’ve been out on the land tapping maple trees, setting posts, and continuing to shape the vision for a small agri-tourism retreat in the Finger Lakes near Van Etten.

The long-term goal is to connect maple syrup, berry farming, outdoor adventures, and local food experiences — all tied together with our growing collaboration with .
