Just grinding away, Not easy trying to keep up living in Taxafornia! I took some time To catch a couple hours fishing with "the stick"who made me look bad... Same day I got some awesome videos from My oldest son Nate doing what he does working on becoming a commercial airline pilot! lcing on top the same day my daughter lily got a job offer from department of fish and game. She's a civil engineer with a degree in environmental, so she might be helping our fishery!

Got a couple good ones yesterday with John Garner of left at 12 back by five good day! We ate damn good too, BBQ prime rib and fillet mignon buddy trip John Pat and me, man I need that Right on Capt John!

Got a chance to fish on Friday after a brutally long month with my long time fishing buddy Captain Shawn Taylor .
I started fishing with Shawn when he was 16 years old, I caught my first sturgeon from a boat with him and fishing with Shawn is when I got my first glimpse into the Bay Area fishing scene, even then he was a "hardcore" fisherman.
He's always been serious and he's earned his reputation as one of the best if not "The Best in the Bay"!
He introduced me to Bubba Dunn and the rest is history!
Got a chance to take my good friend Dennis Reiche and his father-in-law on this trip, definitely one for the record books.
We got 12 lingcod on the first drift and limits of quality rockfish we yanked on fish till our backs gave out!
I got to work on deck and seeing how Shawn runs his trip it was like watching a fishing showin reel time!
We all had a great time everyone on board was impressed with the experience!
If you're a serious angler, a begginer, or family with kids, Captain Shawn is a laid-back super nice guy no drama no attitude fun to be around he takes his craft seriously...
Highly recommend booking a trip with this outfit!
