Wrapped up Week 2 of Summer Workouts with an intersquad singles tournament. Our finalists on the boys' side were junior Ethan Stoutamire and freshman Mason Blocker, and on the girls' side, sophomore Medley Perry and freshman Hensley Odom. The boys didn't get to finish due to weather, while Medley Perry won the championship on the girls' side. The Vikings are working hard to get better over the summer! 🎾🛡️

🎾 Wimbledon in Valdosta returns July 11-12 at the Harry B. Anderson Tennis Center in McKey Park.
This two-day tournament features singles and doubles competition for all ages and skill levels:
Competition Categories:

Men & Women Singles & Doubles (3.5 & under // 4.0 // 4.5 // Open)
Boys & Girls Singles & Doubles (10 & under through 18 & under)
Adult Mixed Doubles (3.5 & under // 4.0 // 4.5 // Open)

Registration Details:

Deadline: Midnight, July 6th
Fee: $30 first event / $10 additional event
Each participant receives a t-shirt
Players may participate in up to 2 events

Congratulations to all 2026 graduates! We are super proud of our six graduates, all of whom graduated as Honor Grads with Distinction. These six have done great things both on and off the court for LHS and will continue to do so in life. We are proud of them and cannot wait to see what the future holds.

Our girls were also nominated for:

We are excited to invite you to our annual All Sports Ceremony on Thursday, May 21st, at 6:00 PM in the LHS PAC.

This special evening is an opportunity to celebrate the dedication, hard work, and accomplishments of our student-athletes and coaches throughout the 2025-26 school year. We look forward to recognizing the commitment and impact they have made on the Viking community.

We are also proud to announce that Viking great Randy McPherson will serve as this year’s guest speaker.

We hope you will join us as we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our student-athletes. Your presence and support help make this a memorable night for all involved.

We will have a parent meeting on Tuesday for all rising 9th graders and their parents interested in trying out for tennis next season. All rising 9th-grade parents/players wishing to try out for the 2026-2027 season should attend.
