Lowndes Tennis getting it done in the classroom! 8 of our athletes scored a 5 on an AP exam in the Spring! Senior Holden Walton scored a 5 on all five of his exams! And Viking Tennis Alumni Eli Johnson scored a 5 on all three of his exams in the Spring!
We are so proud of the work our athletes put in on and off the court!

🎾 Junior Team Tennis is BACK this fall!

We’re excited to welcome USTA Junior Team Tennis back to Valdosta for another season of teamwork, competition, and fun on the courts!

Open to boys and girls ages 8–18, Junior Team Tennis is a great way for young players to build match experience, improve their game, make new friends, and enjoy tennis as part of a team.

📅 October 11 – November 15, 2026
⏰ Sundays at 3:00 PM
📍 McKey Park’s Harry B. Anderson Tennis Center

A big thank you to VLPRA for sponsoring this season and continuing to support opportunities for junior tennis players in our community.

A month of hard work in the heat of the day calls for a little fun. Our players ended June workouts with water balloons and Kona Ice to cool off before heading into dead week!

Wrapped up Week 2 of Summer Workouts with an intersquad singles tournament. Our finalists on the boys' side were junior Ethan Stoutamire and freshman Mason Blocker, and on the girls' side, sophomore Medley Perry and freshman Hensley Odom. The boys didn't get to finish due to weather, while Medley Perry won the championship on the girls' side. The Vikings are working hard to get better over the summer! 🎾🛡️
