This weekend was more than just a race weekend.

From Brown Mountain to Brushy Mountain to the NCHSA race, something finally clicked.

The climbs felt easier. The obstacles felt smaller. The confidence felt bigger. The speed was there. The endurance was there. Most importantly, the belief was there.

I’ve spent months working on fitness, riding skills, race strategy, nutrition, mindset, and simply showing up when it would have been easier not to. Sometimes it’s hard to know if all that work is actually paying off.

This weekend gave me my answer.

I rode some of the best trails in North Carolina, pushed myself harder than ever, and raced one of the strongest races of my season. I may have finished 2nd, but I left feeling like I won something much bigger—a new level of confidence in what I’m capable of.

The breakthroughs weren’t just on the trail. They were proof that consistency works.

The results don’t come from one ride, one workout, or one race.

They come from all the little choices nobody sees.

This weekend, I finally got to see the rewards of those choices.

And I think I’m just getting started. 🏍️🔥

I’m starting June training with a completely different mindset this time.

Last year I said I was “training for hard enduro someday.”

But someday is easy to say.

This year I picked a goal.
Picked a race.
Built a plan.
And started becoming the rider capable of it.

And honestly?
99% of reaching a goal is learning to love the process that gets you there.

The workouts.
The repetition.
The exhaustion.
The little wins nobody else sees.

This journal might seem extra to some people 😂 but if I take the time to make it, plan it, write it all down, and build something I’m proud of… I feel accountable to it.

And somehow checking off tiny boxes starts turning into real progress.

Day by day.
Workout by workout.
Ride by ride.

I’m not just hoping I can do this anymore.

I’m becoming someone who will. https://sites.google.com/view/dirt-driven-adventures/home?authuser=0

“Tonight’s lesson: how to change a front sprocket…”

Step 1: Stand there.
Step 2: Watch Kenneth do everything.
Step 3: Nod like you’re absorbing knowledge 😂

Swapped my ’26 from a 14T down to a 13T (shoutout to the ’22 👏) so it’ll hit quicker and feel a little more spicy out of the gate 🔥

I didn’t turn a single bolt… but mentally?
Absolutely installed that sprocket myself 💁🏽‍♀️🏁

Kenneth said it was a “teaching moment”…
but somehow his hands were on the tools the entire time 🤔😂

Swapped out the red springs for silver in my Rekluse so it engages quicker…
I learned a lot… mainly how to supervise like a pro 💅🏽🏁
