However I do not support trophy hunting in any way. As a wildland firefighter, I have seen wolves etc. They are beautiful, majestic creatures. I even had a pet wolf in my early 20s.

She's 12 years old. She's leading Yellowstone's longest-running wolf family since the park's wolves were reintroduced in 1995. And a hunter with 14,000 Facebook followers has publicly vowed to kill her the moment Wyoming's wolf hunt opens on September 15.

Wolf 1090F leads the Mollie's pack. Her family has survived three decades of policy shifts and the near-eradication of wolves from the region, but now 1090F is being named a target for trophy hunting.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission can still protect Mollie's pack by closing Wolf Hunt Area 1 before the season opens.
