The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Division spring range academies have concluded. Are you looking for a new and challenging career here in our area? Do you know someone looking for a new and rewarding career? Contact me and I will point you in the right direction.

With the range academies ending I am looking to focus on the last pistol permit course I am offering this spring at the MCL- Marine Corp league of Herkimer County on May 16th and 17th. The more participants means more instructors in attendance with a wealth of fi****ms experience. And we like to teach!

I am at the start of another academy range week for the Oneida County Sheriff’s Corrections Division.

NYS DCJS minimum standards along with decades of fi****ms experience within this course. In person instruction is mandatory in this course per NYS, along with many other mandatory requirements.

Along with the mandatory 5 round live fire test an additional 5 rounds is run to introduce the growing popularity of pistol mounted optics.

Still on the fence about starting your pistol permit process? I have availability for walk ins tomorrow at the Boonville VFW. Don’t miss out on the last class in the north country area for the spring.
A fall class will be scheduled soon.

2 courses coming up. One in Oneida County north country (Boonville) this Saturday. The next in mid May at the Marine Corps League in Ilion.

Now approved for Otsego County.

Any and all participating instructors are active or retired NYS certified Law Enforcement fi****ms instructors with combined decades of experience teaching locally. Additional decades beyond with personal fi****ms experience.
