“Yet still they rise…”

Today at Dr. Sakinah’s She Rise Tea event, I witnessed something beautiful.

I watched women walk into the room carrying silent battles, emotional exhaustion, disappointments, responsibilities, grief, ministry burdens, family pressures, and hidden wounds… yet still they rise.

I watched women cry.
I watched women laugh.
I watched women get affirmed.
I watched women receive prayer, healing, and deliverance.

There was something powerful about seeing women realize they were not disqualified because they were still healing.

So many women have spent years being “the strong one” for everybody else while quietly pouring from an empty place. But today felt like a reminder that God still sees them, still calls them, and still has purpose for their lives.

I loved seeing women encouraged to stop shrinking themselves, stop comparing themselves, and stop waiting for permission to walk in what God already placed inside of them.

Every woman in that room carried something valuable.
Every testimony mattered.
Every tear mattered.
Every breakthrough mattered.

And one thing became very clear:
Healing may change your voice, your boundaries, your confidence, your relationships, and even your direction… but you should never apologize for becoming whole.

A special thank you to Dr. Sakinah for flowing in her anointing and allowing God to use her so freely. Thank you for creating a space where women could be poured into, strengthened, affirmed, and reminded of who they are. Your obedience touched many lives today.

Today was beautiful.
Women were crowned.
Women were seen.
Women were strengthened.

Yet still they rise.

The Swipe Feels Small… Until It Doesn’t

I came across a video that broke this down, and it really made me pause.

It started as a $13 burger.
DoorDash convenience made it $22.
Then fees and interest turned it into $139.

And I had a revelation…

This is how small compromises grow.

What feels harmless in the moment
can cost you more later.

Not just with money…
but with choices, habits, and obedience.

Our mothers used to say, “If you want it, go in that kitchen and make it.”
What sounded simple was really wisdom.
Discipline in the small things protects you from costly outcomes later.

This isn’t just about food…
it’s a pattern.

The swipe feels easy.
The system feels normal.
But the cost is real.

It’s bigger than a meal… it’s a pattern.
People make the world go round.

Guard the small decisions. They add up.

Today I was reminded of something powerful…
No matter your age—
Generation Alpha
Gen Z
Millennials
Gen X
Baby Boomers
We are ALL facing something.
Some are searching…
Some are tired…
Some are carrying more than they let people see…
And some have tried everything—but still feel something missing.
And if we’re honest…
At some point in life, we’ve all reached for things
that didn’t truly give us peace.
But here’s the truth:
Jesus didn’t rise for one generation… He rose for ALL of us.
And the same power that got Him up…
can lift YOU up too.
It’s not too late.
You’re not too far gone.
And no matter what it looks like…
IT’S NOT OVER.
If your heart has been pulling you toward God…
Don’t ignore it.
That’s not pressure…
that’s Him calling you.
