Today, our summer camp instructors completed CPR and first aid training to ensure they’re prepared to respond confidently in an emergency. ❤️🩹

Safety is our top priority, and ongoing training helps us provide a fun, secure environment where campers can learn, explore, and make lasting memories.

A special thank you to Stacie Ellis, our Camp Coordinator at our Vernon location, for organizing and leading today’s CPR training event. Your dedication and hard work help ensure our staff is prepared and our campers are in great hands.

Today was a big milestone—Morgan earned her Yellow Belt! 💛🥋

Watching her grow has been about so much more than learning martial arts. Her confidence has blossomed with every class, every challenge, and every time she stepped outside her comfort zone. She’s become stronger, more determined, and believes in herself in ways that are incredible to see.

This yellow belt represents all of her hard work, perseverance, and the confidence she’s built along the way. We couldn’t be prouder of how far she’s come, and we can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next.

Keep shining, Morgan! This is only the beginning. 💛👏

Congratulations to all of our candidates who participated in Black Belt Testing this past Saturday! 🥋🖤

Earning a black belt is about so much more than learning kicks and punches. It represents years of dedication, perseverance, discipline, leadership, and the courage to push through challenges when things get tough. Our candidates were tested physically, mentally, and emotionally, and we could not be more proud of the effort, determination, and heart they demonstrated throughout the day.

Thank you to all of our families, instructors, judges, and supporters who helped make this special event possible. We are honored to be a part of each student’s martial arts journey and can’t wait to celebrate their accomplishments.

What better way to celebrate the last day of school than with a surprise ice cream truck? 🍦🎉

Today, our After School students wrapped up an incredible school year with smiles, laughter, and their favorite frozen treats from The IceMother & Sons! These students have worked hard all year long, and we couldn’t think of a sweeter way to celebrate their accomplishments and kick off summer.

A huge congratulations to all of our students on finishing another successful school year. We are so proud of each and every one of you!

Leadership isn’t about age—it’s about character, confidence, and setting the example.

Today, this incredible incredible young man- stepped up and led our entire class in the Student Creed. Standing in front of his peers and speaking with confidence takes courage, and we’re so proud to see him developing the leadership skills that will serve him both on and off the mat.

At UMAC, we’re not just teaching martial arts—we’re helping young people become confident leaders, strong communicators, and positive role models.
