I am not sure this is real. I can afford to eat out as long as I can pay the bill. With or without a tip. I do not need a scum owner of a restaurant to determine what I do. If I walked in and saw the sign, I would leave without any delay. Nobody tells me what to do. Pay your employees a fair wage. If they are desperate or dumb and accept your lousy wage how is that my problem? You own a restaurant? Time to shut it down scumbag.

Imagine walking into a restaurant and seeing a sign saying servers make just $5.49 an hour, followed by a warning that customers who can't afford to tip shouldn't dine out.
I understand that servers work hard and deserve fair pay. But shouldn't restaurants be responsible for paying their employees properly instead of putting that pressure on customers?
People already pay for their meals, taxes, and sometimes extra fees. Now they're being told how much more they should leave.
Tipping should be a way to appreciate good service, not something customers feel forced into.
**So who's responsible for making sure servers earn a fair wage: the restaurant owner or the customer?
