3 Simple Ways to Recalibrate from the stress of the day:

1. 🌬️ Breath - Take some deep breaths as you connect to this powerful anchor into the present moment that is always with you, always accessible. Just breath and let that be your only focus for a few moments.

2. 👣 Body - Begin to scan your body from head to toe, releasing any tension, gripping or holding as you do. Simply placing your awareness on places in your soma is often enough to release and reset.

3. 🌐 Below - Feel your energy dropping down to meet the earth’s energy below you, as the earth’s soothing electromagnetic frequency rises up to embrace you. This is simple grounding that can feel immediately calming. 

There you have it!

The 3 B’s. Whenever you’re getting lost, stressed or confused during you day, take a short break and focus on these pillars. 

Simple practices are some of the most profound.

There is often a trick anxiety plays on us making us feel we have to figure everything out immediately, urgently.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Remember, you don’t have to figure anything out in this very moment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You don’t have to fix your feelings.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The answers are unfolding, the actions will come and meanwhile what if you can enJOY the mystery.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The most important this is to take care of your well being. Sleep, movement, hydration, nature, friends, laughter -- let that be enough.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You are starting to play more, experimenting with the possibility that maybe there is no right or wrong, each time you are being choiceful you are right! So you are starting to enJOY making "wrong choices" and feeling how you are changing the meaning of that once-damning idea more and more each time that you are experimenting, putting yourself out there, deleting and revising, being --- Imperfect (gasp!) ;) -- and your world doesn't implode. So you become more daring to seek and express your most authentic, truest self. And the Universe says, "YES! We see you! More please!"

You are right on track. Continue to trust the process. Each time there's a bit of unknown about the next step, notice how that makes you feel. See if you can access feelings of security, and trust even if you don't know. Look back at how far you've already come in your life. Celebrate, feel grateful and open to it continuing to get better and better without you forcing!

This is a powerful eclipse to release something that’s not right for you!

What I’ve been hearing coming up for so many empaths at this time is the struggle to make time for themselves
and even when they do they feel guilty, exhausted and anxious rather than 𝒆̲̅𝒏̲̅𝒆̲̅𝒓̲̅𝒈̲̅𝒊̲̅𝒛̲̅𝒆̲̅𝒅̲̅ 𝒂̲̅𝒏̲̅𝒅̲̅ 𝒆̲̅𝒎̲̅𝒑̲̅𝒐̲̅𝒘̲̅𝒆̲̅𝒓̲̅𝒆̲̅𝒅̲̅.

I've seen so many make the mistake of continuing to waste precious creative energy on others because they don't know how to get clear AND confident to channel their life energy where they want!

And that's just backwards.

Do you resist simple solutions?

One of the simplest and most efficient ways to recover as an empath in overwhelm is to spend time in nature.

Did you do this as a kid? ⬇️

I would spend hours outside in nature as a kid, exploring the creek by my house, climbing trees and petting my neighbor’s horses. I was free and completely untethered by any responsibility other than getting home when the sun went down. It was so magical!

Each week I make a point to harness those childhood memories of exploration in nature to let go and enjoy the freedom and replenished feeling we can receive there.

Here are some ways I practice healing in nature as an adult.

The following simple practices help me uncoil from stress and tap into some of the innocence of my youth… what are yours?

•walk barefoot aka earthing
•leave my phone behind
•gaze into the distance 🌊
•lie on my back and watch the clouds ☁️☁️☁️
•engage all of my senses 🌺
•smile with my whole body and give thanks 🙏🏼

Attacked or confused. 
Maybe that you just didn’t belong.

Perhaps there are memories from your childhood where you felt unseen, rejected or devastated by someone else?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This can happen because we weren't taught how to engage with others and feel safe in direct, honest communication of our needs.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Those painful and confusing encounters live in our subconscious mind as unsafe, unintegrated woundings and, in an effort to protect us, dictate how we are engaging with others, often without our awareness! 
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then— get this — they will literally continue to recreate those same experiences until we choose to break free!!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Integrating these challenging experiences in an intentional field of safety is one of the ways we can practice relational alchemy in our relationships.  
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some of us have spent so long compromising our own voice to make others comfortable that we could benefit from intentional practice of sharing our voice and being held in active, non-judgemental listening. 
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Consciously meeting with others in a held space & practicing staying connected to ourselves fully while doing so is the key to relational freedom! 🗝🗝🗝

How do we take back our power from being a victim to certain emotions?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Choose an emotion you're able to feel in this moment, or tap into an emotion you have a difficult time with.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'll use the example of 🔥anger🔥 but you can sub any word you'd like in here. Many of us grew up in situations where we couldn't express anger OR anger was experienced as violence. However, anger is just energy if we allow it to be.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's how we reframe our experience so the emotion doesn't hold a power over us anymore. Rather, we can be empowered by the energy moving through us:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Say out loud "I am angry," 3 times.  Go ahead, say it out loud now.  I am angry, I am angry, I am angry.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now say, "I feel anger," 3 times.  I feel anger, I feel anger, I feel anger. We are beginning to remove ourselves from the emotion in this step. Did you say it out loud?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Next say "I feel energy," 3 times.  I feel energy, I feel energy, I feel energy.  If emotions are just energy in motion, we are taking even more space from the negative associations we have with certain emotions and choosing to experience it as simply energy in the body.  As you say this one, notice what the physical sensation is of the energy in your body.  This is how you take back your power from certain emotions have a power OVER you.

Finally say "I feel," 3 times.  I feel, I feel, I feel.  
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What do you notice from doing this exercise? Perhaps you feel more spaciousness from the negative associations your mind has with this energy? Something else?

As some of you know, I have been navigating have C19 in the house (along with Leiven) and it's been important to rest, receive the wisdom coming through and take the space needed for rejuvenation and replenishment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We are cyclical beings and most of us feel more comfortable when our energy is at a high, however, how we treat ourselves when energy inevitably wanes is paramount to our growth in the big picture. Speak lovingly to yourself this week. We are often our own worst critics. Here are two tricks I like to suggest:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. How would you respond to your best friend who was down on themselves? Talk to yourself that way. 👩🏾‍🤝‍👩🏼
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. How would you respond to a small child being hard on themselves? Try that out on yourself! This is an aspect of a reparenting practice where we give our inner child the unconditional love they deserve! Give it a try and let me know how it goes. 🐣🐣🐣
