MP Athlete doesn’t have tendinous intersections (also known as inscriptions tendineae). Which are the re**us abdominis (“six-pack” muscle) that is one long paired muscle that runs vertically along the front of your abdomen. It is crossed by several horizontal bands of connective tissue called tendinous intersections. By not having this the result is flat smooth abdominals with no separation in the abs regardless of how lean he gets. This is purely genetic and there is no training that can change this. As you know in a sport where abs are arguably one of the most important muscle groups especially in the Men’s Physique division it makes a first place nearly impossible!
Yet this 56 year old family man, business man and huge contributor to his community works relentlessly with a me vs me attitude that drove him to a all time best package measuring below 4% on the InBody (which we know is more around 5%). He blows me away with his incredible mindset and desire to push himself to win! Not win a show, but win at life! And that’s exactly what he’s doing.
Matter of fact he’s walking the streets of Turkey right now touring Europe with his wife of over 30 years and his two beautiful kids Max who just graduated with honors for CU and is about to start an amazing career in Chicago and Sarah who is soon to follow in her big brother’s footsteps as she will begin her Junior year at CU this fall.
To me Jeff is the definition of a Bodybuilder. He’s taken the lessons from the stage and improved his life and visa versa.
I love you my Brotha and I can’t wait for the next one! Beating this package is truly going to be a great test for both of us.
By the way Jeff placed 4th out 12 in Masters and 6th out of 14 in open against the young men! I couldn’t be more proud.
