And you should be proud of you, too.
We’re so quick to focus on what’s not going right that we forget to give ourselves credit for everything that is.
We need to change that.
Did you recently….
- Take a leap of faith
- Start a new job
- Move to a new city
- Give birth
- Set a boundary
- Decide to quit smoking
- Make a hard decision (that you know is the right one)
- Retire
- Start college
- Try a new recipe
- Take on something challenging
- Go out to dinner by yourself
- Change careers
- Raise a family
- Break a bad habit
- Build a new habit
- Stay true to yourself
- Choose to stay another day
Be proud of yourself if you are…
- Sober (or taking the steps to get sober)
- In therapy
- Asking for help
- Moving through grief
- Working on what challenges you most
- Learning to be okay without them
- Breaking generational patterns
- Smiling despite everything trying to break you down
Big or small—it all counts.
And we don’t celebrate ourselves enough, so let’s start now.
