🤠🐴 That’s a wrap on June Summer Horse Camp! 🐴🤠

What an incredible few days at Red Horse Training! From riding lessons and obstacle courses to goat tying, tie-dye, horsemanship games, saddle balance challenges, and making new friends, our campers packed so much fun into every day.

We loved watching each camper grow in confidence, develop new skills, and create memories that will last long after camp is over. ❤️

A huge thank you to all of our campers, families, helpers, and horses who made this week so special. We are so proud of each and every rider!

🐴☀️ Day 2 of Summer Camp was packed with fun and learning! ☀️🐴

Today our campers put their skills to the test with goat tying, obstacle courses, saddle balance challenges, tie-dye creations, and so much more!

From building confidence in the saddle to making colorful camp memories with friends, it was a day full of smiles, laughter, and hands-on horsemanship. ❤️

We love watching these young riders learn new skills, encourage one another, and grow more comfortable around horses each day.

We can’t wait to see what adventures Day 3 brings! 🤠🐴🌈

We are so excited to kick off our first day of camp at Red Horse Training!

Today is all about making new friends, learning about horses, building confidence, and having a whole lot of fun in the barn. From riding time to horsemanship, our campers are in for a great day!

❤️🐴 RESERVE NATIONAL CHAMPION 🐴❤️

🏆🇺🇸 NATIONALS SUCCESS 🇺🇸🏆

What a day. What a moment.

Today at Nationals, I stood with tears in my eyes as our Red Horse riders swept the top placings.

And one result hit especially hard.

John Finegan earned RESERVE NATIONAL CHAMPION.

When John joined Red Horse Training in October 2023, his goal was simple: become a stronger rider for mounted shooting. What followed was extraordinary.

John has cerebral palsy and is partially deaf, but he has never wanted to be defined by either. To us, he’s an equestrian. A horseman. A competitor.

Ride after ride, he showed up and pushed himself. Already an experienced horseman through IHSA, he stepped into a new challenge with IEA and YEDA competition and never looked back.

And he never did it alone.

Our team rallied around him every step of the way. Riders learned to sign announcements and cues so John would never miss important information. That’s what a team does.

Then came Nationals.

John walked into the arena, climbed aboard an unfamiliar horse, trusted his training, and competed against the best riders in the country.

He didn’t just compete.

He became Reserve National Champion.

John, your grit, courage, and love for horses inspire everyone around you. This isn’t a story about limitations. It’s a story about talent, hard work, heart, and perseverance.

We couldn’t be prouder.
