Jon's NW Outdoors Jon's NW Outdoors facilitates Bass fishing experiences as well as upland bird hunting excursions.

Jon’s Northwest Outdoors is owned and operated by Tournament BASS Pro, Jon Blank. Jon is an avid outdoorsman and tournament angler.

e my primary fishing focus has been BASS fishing in the Northwest. My outdoor passion is diverse, ranging from all aspects of the outdoors such as fishing, archery elk and deer hunting to upland bird hunting in the fall.”

Jon has been actively involved in fishing the Northwest Bass Tournament Circuit where my partner and I placed in the top 5 for Anglers of the Year, and notably winning the Banks Lake Opener in April 2012. Jon has always enjoyed giving back to the sports he enjoys by helping others share in the success he has been blessed with. His purpose is to educate and teach those who want to gain further knowledge of the sport of BASS fishing, upland hunting and dog training, so they can be more successful in the field and enjoy the wonderful outdoors.

A few days out in Okeechobee was fun. Lots of big name anglers pre fishing for the Toyota Series MLF event this week plus a college event on the lake. I’ve never seen so many bass boats in one place. I’m talking every marina and canal launch packed! It was cool to see but talk about fishing pressure! The guys will have their hands full with morning temps dropping into the low 30’s! Water temps in the two days I fished dropped 12 degrees! I was blessed to fish with a MLF/FLW angler to see the level of game they play. While the weather was not on our side we still caught some good fish! Good times!
