The time has come to permanently shut down our studio on Sunday, April 30th after our last class. To have to actually say these words is beyond devastating for Joe and myself. Our dream from day one was to build a special studio in Scottsdale, to support the local community and help people with their fitness and wellness journeys.
Over the past 6 years, which includes post Covid, we have poured our hearts, souls, and financial resources (including retirement and kids' college funds) into the studio to keep it operating.
In September 2022 we moved to Scottsdale to give our studio additional onsite support to hopefully get us to profitability. We’ve been working long days without either one of us taking a salary, all to help streamline costs. This plan was only sustainable for a certain amount of time.
No words can fully express the sadness, emotional, and financial turmoil that we have gone through since Covid, regarding operating the studio.
Unfortunately we have made the extremely tough decision to close the studio permanently April 30th, 2023 after our final class.
All of you have become our friends and family. We are extremely proud of this amazing community we all have built together. The studio, despite all of the ups and downs, and the devastation that Covid caused, along with other studio challenges, has been a very special place and has changed many of our lives. Joe and I are truly grateful for all of you who have supported us, our partners, staff and instructors throughout the last 6 plus years.
This is extremely tough so we kindly ask everyone to please be respectful and understanding towards us as both Joe/I are human and are really hurting at the moment. We could certainly use your support with a hug or perhaps tell us some of your great stories, opportunities and changes our studio brought to you.
This is not a goodbye forever as we hope to continue the relationships we’ve built with our members, staff and instructors.
