🧠 Weekly 1-Minute Hack: The "Hand Size" Portion Guide

If you don't want to track every single calorie on an app, use your hand as a quick, foolproof portion guide to keep your nutrition on track this week:

- Protein (Meat/Fish/Eggs): Aim for a portion the size of your palm.
- Vegetables (Greens/Broccoli): Aim for a portion the size of your fist.
- Carbohydrates (Rice/Potatoes): Aim for a portion the size of your cupped hand.

This simple visual check keeps your meals balanced and well-fueled without any added stress.

🗓️ Memorial Day Schedule Notice:

We are working on Memorial Day (Monday, May 25)! From 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, we will be hosting complimentary "accountability virtual calls" for all active clients, and virtual "free consultations" for potential clients.

For Active Clients: Use this time to tweak your current programs, address your training questions, map out upcoming goals, or bring up any comments and concerns. Let’s make sure your routine is tailored perfectly to your progress.

For Potential Clients: This is a zero-pressure strategy call to chat about your fitness goals and build a baseline plan.

🦃 Thanksgiving Week Focus: Stay Locked In!

This is the week where staying on track can get tough — tons of food, leftovers everywhere, social events, and long weekends. But we’re not about falling off. We’re about rising up.

Here are 5 Tips to Survive Thanksgiving Without Derailing Your Progress:

1 Lead with Protein.�Prioritize turkey, chicken, lean meats, or plant-based proteins first. It keeps you fuller and stabilizes blood sugar.
2 Choose Smart Leftovers.�If you’re taking food home, go heavy on vegetables and proteins, lighter on the heavy carbs and creamy dishes.
3 Stay Hydrated.�Aim for 80–120 oz of water per day. Hydration keeps cravings down and energy high.
4 Limit Alcohol & Sugary Drinks.�These can rack up calories fast. If you do drink, hydrate between each drink and keep it moderate.
5 Pick ONE Dessert Day.�Enjoy your Thanksgiving dessert on Thursday — don’t let the “holiday” turn into a 4-day sugar marathon.
