Watching my guy that I brought along from a baby teach my students how to do flying changes makes me so proud 🥹

Proud of the horse he’s become, proud of the confidence he gives our riders, and proud watching our students grow and be eager to learn maneuvers, whether they show or not🤎

What a great weekend spent with the crew showing at the North East Ranch Horse Association 🎉

I’m so proud of all of our riders and horses this weekend. There were so many accomplishments — from confidence boosts, to personal bests, to great rides and great attitudes all around. Horse showing is never just about the ribbons; it’s about the growth, teamwork, and all of the little wins along the way.

Our riders did have lots of great success earning class wins, top 3, top 5, and top 10 finishes; class buckles; day-end awards including grand and reserve in their divisions; Dry high point; Cattle high point; and top 5 finishers in the Horsemans Classic. 🏆

Most importantly, everyone had an amazing experience and showed so much improvement throughout the weekend. I’m incredibly thankful for the clients and horses I get to work with and for the support system around us.

We can’t wait to do our homework and head back to Northeast Ranch Horse Association in July for round 2 🐴✨

Thank you to NERHA, all its members, directors, etc. for EVERYTHING that they do. It does not go unnoticed and we are so grateful to have such a well-run and welcoming organization to spend our days with. We cant love you all enough!🥰

We had riders at shows all over including Sussex, Skyline, & TAHA 🤩

Our riders had many great placings, day end awards, and lots of progress made!

I so wish I could have been there with you all and coach, but you all did absolutely amazing and I could not be more proud🥰

Some of the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 lesson crew participated in a private clinic with Skys The Limit Performance Horses 🥳

Thank you to Karlene & Shawn Bushey for coming down and spending the day covering ARHA & NERHA cattle events with us!

It was a great day of learning and growth for the crew and we are excited to continue attending the Northeast Ranch Horse Association shows this summer 😎🎉

Thank you to Chad Alesky & Quarter Acre Farm for covering the cattle end of things (and everything else you do 😘) and to everyone who pitched in a helpful hand and/or brought goodies to share!🙏

✨️ 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲! ✨️

It’s been a little while since we’ve checked in— things have been BUSY... 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙮!

Between lessons, training horses, and traveling out for bodywork clients, we’ve been running non-stop, 7 days a week (and many hours a day😅).

With show season right around the corner and the weather finally turning, we’re gearing up for an exciting stretch ahead.

We are incredibly grateful for all of our clients: your continued trust and support truly means everything to us. 🫶

✨ 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗗𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗲 ✨

Some horses come into your life for a season… and some change it forever. 𝘋𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦.

After taking a light break during my teenage years, she’s the one who rekindled my love for riding and brought me back to where I belonged — in the saddle. I purchased her as a 5-year-old, and she’ll be 18 this April. It’s hard to believe how much life we’ve lived together in those years.

Dottie is as safe as safe could be — but she has never been a “hand it to you easily” kind of ride. She made me work. She made me learn how to truly use my seat and my hands. She helped me develop true feel. She demanded patience, consistency, and intention. And because of her, my horsemanship grew in ways I didn’t even realize at the time.

She’s been my "everything" horse: English & hack, barrel and poles (her FAVORITE), ranch horse, team penning partner, colt-ponier, and steady trail mount. Whatever I’ve asked of her, she’s shown up. No matter the discipline, she gives her whole heart.

She’s been there through some of the biggest seasons and changes in my life — including being the reason I met my now fiancé. Funny how one good horse can shape your entire path.

Dottie has helped mold me into the rider and horsewoman I am today. And my hope is that she continues to help shape others for years to come.
