What can you do today to take a step to better your health? Here are some suggestions:

* take 10 minutes to do some stretches
* drink an extra glass of water 💦
* go for a 15 minute walk
* check the fiber content of what you eat today 🍎🫐
* eat just 1 leafy vegetable 🥬

REMEMBER…. Every small step counts.

We all have to start where we are even if it means starting again and again!

When it is 90+ degrees outside it can be difficult to want to workout. I pushed through it and did a 45 minute ride on the recumbent bike. Awesome sweat 👍🏼💪🏽🚴🏽‍♂️. Not always easy but it is always worth it. . .

There are days where we just do not feel like moving at all. That is normal for all of us so remember there is nothing wrong with feeling this way. I have been pretty sick since last week and per my Dr’s orders working out was to come to a stop for a couple of days at least. As much as I did not like being told to stop doing what I love for a couple of days I did cut back 😉. Today I took a walk at a much slower pace than normal and now I am riding my bike at a slow pace just so I can move. Movement is medicine! Medicine for not only our physical bodies but our mental and emotional well-being as well. Working out is not and should never be a punishment for ourselves. It’s about overall wellness. YOU ARE ENOUGH! Make yourself a priority today. I challenge you to do one thing today that will benefit your mind or body. 10 minute walk, 10 minute meditation, eat some fruits or vegetables! Every small step counts! You are worth it! 💪🏽🧘‍♂️🍎🍉🥝🥬🥦🥕
