It is with immense pride and a truly humbled heart that I teach the BASI Mentor Program in Japan. This opportunity represents far more than a professional milestone — it is one of the greatest honors of my entire career in the Pilates industry. To stand in this role today feels like standing at the summit of a journey that began decades ago, guided by passion, dedication, and an unwavering belief in the power of this work.

Nearly twenty years ago, I was part of the very first group of faculty entrusted with opening BASI Japan. At that time, we were planting seeds — seeds of education, excellence, and community. We carried a vision forward with hope and commitment, not fully knowing how deeply those roots would grow. To now return and teach the BASI Mentor Program, sharing Rael’s life’s work with a new generation of teachers, feels profoundly full circle.

There is something incredibly moving about witnessing the evolution of a dream you helped nurture from its early days. To see how BASI has flourished in Japan, to feel the strength of the community, and to contribute to its continued growth is both deeply personal and immensely meaningful. Teaching Rael’s lifelong work is not something I take lightly — it carries responsibility, history, and heart.

I could not be more proud to play an integral part in this extraordinary legacy. This work has shaped me as a teacher, as a professional, and as a person. To now guide others on their journey within BASI is a privilege beyond words — one that fills me with gratitude, reverence, and enduring love for this remarkable community.
