Gettin' the weekend started right!
"Cricket" number TWO.
While the savage and cricket barrels are settling in for their slow rust cycle, finished taking apart the cricket internals and cleaned up the stock. Since it's synthetic some of the marks weren't able to be removed. Cleaned up fairly nice!
Internals are currently being cleaned....

The "cricket" got a few runs through the bluing process. Not quite what I want yet. Each coat is looking better. I use a slow rust process and it is going well. Need to dial in some settings with heat and humidity! Thanks for looking!

Just finished a recoil pad install on a nice Sako. (Sorry forgot to get a picture).

Working on a "Cricket" refurb. Image is a new, light coating of Tru-Oil. Couple more coats and the stock should be finished.

Also working on a Savage Model 99 .243 complete refurb. Barrel is prepped and awaiting bluing. The stock just received its final tru-oil coating. Foreend is finished.
