TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT!

The Putnam County Lady Midgets Hit-a-Thon Kickoff Scrimmage is tonight at 5:00 PM!

After six hard days of practice, we took 15 minutes earlier this week to let the girls have a little fun with an “Anything But a Glove & Bat” Scrimmage. Because softball is about more than just reps, it’s about competing, being together, having fun, and building a team. And these girls have been putting in the work!

Come out tonight as they showcase their hard work and support the Lady Midgets! We’d love to see you there! Don’t forget to head up to the football jamboree after!

The countdown to first pitch is on! Our Putnam County Varsity, JV, and JH Lady Midgets are getting ready to hit the diamond for the 2026 fall season.

📅 Save the schedules, share them with your Lady Midget fans, and make plans to join us at the ballpark!

From our season-opening Putnam County Jamboree and home tournaments to conference matchups and tournament weekends, there's plenty of softball ahead. We can't wait to see our community in the stands supporting these student-athletes!

🥎 PUTNAM COUNTY SOFTBALL HIT-A-THON🥎

We’re kicking off the 2026 season on Friday, August 21st at Max Mothersbaugh Field at 5:00 PM!

Come out to meet the 2026 Lady Midgets, watch a team scrimmage, and get your first look at this year’s team.

And since the Football Jamboree is the same night, you can catch both! Come spend the evening with us at the Hit-A-Thon, then head up to Dave Mitchell Field and support our Midgets!

Make a night of it and come support Putnam County Athletics!

Calling all girls currently in 2nd through 6th grade! Join us May 18 through May 20 from 4:00 to 5:30 PM for our Softball Youth Camp!

Learn from PC coaches and high school players while building skills in hitting, fielding, teamwork, and more in a fun and positive environment for every skill level.

📍 Students can walk from school at 3:30 with adult supervision
⏰ Pick up is at 5:30 each day
💲 Cost: $30 (includes a camp t shirt, payment due first day cash or check made out to PC R1)

Big congratulations to our Putnam County High School Softball Team for being named a Class 1 Academic All-State Team!

This recognition reflects the dedication our student-athletes show not only on the field, but in the classroom as well. The team finished the season with an impressive 3.554 team GPA — a true example of balancing athletics, academics, and leadership.
