What an absolutely incredible week we had at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach! While we didn't achieve what we had hoped for on the field, the experience was extraordinary. These boys competed with a level of talented baseball teams like they had not seen before. 7 games in 4 days at an absolutely beautiful facility with perfect weather the entire week. This was an experience they won't soon forget!

Beyond the game itself, this group of young men shares an incredible bond. That was only strengthened this week. What a joy it is to be a part of sharing these moments with these guys. These small town boys from the middle of nowhere Indiana are blessed with an incredibly unique opportunity; friends, classmates, teammates, brothers. Coach Alig, Coach Johnston, and Coach Gerz are extremely proud of every single one of you young men. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this journey with you!

This team and their families are the best of the best. The memories we ALL shared together this week will be remembered forever! Thank you all for everything!

Our guys went 1-1 in pool play today to kick of the Ripken Experience. Pitching performances by Landon Gerz in Game 1 and Jasper Alig in Game 2 earned them the player of the game honors.

Game 1: Landon Gerz - 6 IP, 1 hit, 1 run, 13 K's

Game 2: Jasper Alig - 3 2/3 IP, 3 runs, 3 K's

Day 2 will kick off tomorrow evening at 5PM! Go Knights! ✝️ ⚾

The boys received a fresh new jersey today unique to their upcoming trip to the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach.

We're only one week away from what we've been building towards all year. Can't wait to share this experience with our guys. Go Knights! ✝️ ⚾

When your 12 year old son talks for weeks about how he can strike you out, sometimes they need a humble reminder about where they came from. 🤣

Coach had to take the infamous home run ball photo as well. Disclaimer: This is not the real home run ball. That one is still somewhere in orbit. 🚀

A great all-around game from our guys last night to earn a W! The boys continue to put in the work and see the results of that effort out on the field.

The offense was powered by home runs from Ryder Meriwether and Mason McAfee who both remain scorching hot! Crue Swindell also stayed hot with a 2-3 night with 3 RBIs, and Kreigh Wood was 2-2. Good work fellas!

Congratulations to our guys from MTE for their big win in the NWJBL championship game last night! Also a shout out to our guys from Kober Ag for finishing as runner-up!

Ryder Meriwether and Landon Gerz both hit home runs in their final rec league games at Uniondale. Ryder has been scorching hot and continues to add to his collection! Landon's home run was his 3rd in the last 3 days!

What a weekend! We could not be more proud of this group of young men. What an absolutely resilient weekend of baseball. They battled all weekend long in Columbia City and earned themselves a tournament championship going 4-0 in the process!

Some highlights from this weekend were home runs by Landon Gerz in pool play and Miles Hitzfield in the semifinal. Landon Gerz, Jasper Alig, and Mason McAfee all hit home runs in the championship game, with Jasper and Mason going back-to-back. Crue Swindell pitched a fantastic game in the championship as well!

An all-around great weekend from our guys, highlighted by their class and representation of how the game should be played. Congratulations boys, you earned it! Go Knights! ✝️ ⚾
