This banner may say “Runner-Up,” but these girls right here are CHAMPIONS! 🩷💙🥎

Once again, the rain rolled in and brought the tournament to an early end. But not before these girls fought HARD and left absolutely EVERYTHING they had on the field yesterday!

They played—and WON—more games than any other team in the Gold Bracket. They went 3-1 on the day, including knocking the #1 seed out of the tournament. They battled their way all the way to the Gold Bracket Championship game, where they had tied it up 1-1 just before the rain came.

Unfortunately, the tournament’s rain policy required the bracket to revert back to the original seeding, leaving our girls as the Gold Bracket Runner-Up.

But here’s what we know: the title on the banner does not tell the whole story.

What these girls accomplished yesterday was TOP NOTCH. Their grit, their character, their love for the game, and most importantly, their love for one another showed up and SHOWED OUT. We could not be more proud of them!

Their growth this year has been nothing short of UNBELIEVABLE. Watching them grow not only as softball players, but as teammates, friends, and young ladies has been such a blessing.

And as four of our girls head over to our 12u team, this is NOT goodbye… it’s SEE YOU SOON! ❤️

Because family is family, and we love every single one of you! We are so thankful that God blessed these girls with such beautiful bonds that even saying “see you soon” is worth shedding a few tears over. 🥹🩷💙

TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR THE GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE! 🙌
