Southeastern CT Youth Hockey - SECYH Home of the Seahawks — growing champions, building character, and creating lifelong hockey memories.

Southeastern Connecticut Youth Hockey (SECYH) is a volunteer-led, USA Hockey–sanctioned organization committed to developing young athletes through the sport of hockey. Our mission is to foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the game. We provide structured programming for players of all abilities, with a focus on individual growth, team play, and character-building on and off the ice. Our coaches and officials lead by example, emphasizing accountability, respect, and a strong work ethic. At SECYH, we believe success isn’t just measured by wins, but by the confidence, discipline, and camaraderie our players carry forward — both in hockey and in life. We proudly serve players and families throughout Southeastern Connecticut and welcome all who are ready to learn, compete, and grow in a supportive and spirited hockey community.

The season is almost here, and we’re excited to introduce the incredible coaches who will be leading, teaching and cheering on our Seahawks this year!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing our Coach Spotlights so you can learn more about their hockey backgrounds, coaching philosophies, favorite rink snacks and what they enjoy away from the ice.

These coaches give their time, energy and passion to help our players develop their skills, build confidence and, most importantly, love the game. We’re so grateful to have them as part of the Seahawks family!
