**UKIAH LIONS CHEERLEADER OF THE WEEK!**

It’s that time of year again for one of our most time-honored traditions **Cheerleader of the Week!**

Each week, we get the opportunity to recognize one of our amazing cheerleaders and celebrate the hard work, dedication, teamwork, and positive spirit they bring to their squad. It’s always so special to share this accomplishment with their family, friends, and our entire Lions community!

A BIG special shout-out to Slam Dunk Pizza for helping us recognize these incredible girls by generously providing each Cheerleader of the Week with a voucher to celebrate at their establishment! We are so grateful for your continued support of our cheerleaders!

But the celebration doesn’t stop there! Along with their TEAM recognition and celebratory pizza, these girls earn the special honor of leading their squads at this Sunday’s game in San Marin!

So, Lions family, friends, and fans…help us give a HUGE congratulations to this week’s **Cheerleader of the Week!**

Kicking off the season with an amazing day at NBYFC Jamboree!
A huge thank you to the Rohnert Park Warriors for hosting us! We had so much fun, made great memories, and of course… the Teriyaki Bowl we’ve been waiting for was **worth the wait!**

📣 Ukiah Lions Cheer Families 📣
Just a friendly reminder that we are officially into regular season practice!

Practice Schedule (until school starts):
Monday–Friday
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Please make sure your athlete:
🧡 Arrives on time and is ready to practice.
🖤 Brings plenty of water.
🧡 Uses the restroom before practice begins.
🖤 Wears their practice shirt, black shorts/leggings, and athletic shoes.
🧡 Leaves jewelry at home and has their hair pulled back.

Regular attendance is extremely important as we begin learning cheers, stunts, and choreography.

The Ukiah Lions Cheer program is looking for an enthusiastic 12U Head Cheer Coach for the 2026 season!

Our 12U athletes are excited and ready to go, and we're looking for someone who is passionate about working with kids and helping them grow in confidence, & teamwork.
No prior coaching experience is required! We provide training, resources, and support throughout the season.
Season: July 27 – December 6
Ages: 12 years old

If you've ever thought about giving back to our community or know someone who would be a great fit, we'd love to hear from you. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact on an amazing group of athletes.
