So many times we hear it said, “He is with you in the fire” ... but how often do we tell God, “I am willing to be put in the fire for you.”?

You see.. those three Hebrew boys.. they spoke with their actions.

Their actions said - God, I trust you enough to be put in the fire, not knowing if you will be in it with me or not, but I trust you fully.

Even knowing the heat was being turned up seven times hotter.. they didn’t change their stance, they didn’t back down, they didn’t bail out, they didn’t give in, they certainly didn’t beg for their life.

Calm resolve, steadfast trust.

What kind of faith is this?

The kind that burns hotter than any fire the enemy can throw your way, and acts as a shield to the flames of the enemy’s fire. Their words and actions activated the shield of faith spoken of in Ephesians 6:16.

I love this translation:

“In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one!”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

AND

They didn’t even smell like smoke. I have to believe they smelled like his presence, an offering not able to be consumed by the enemy’s fire, but fully consumed by God.

You see, they were laying their lives down as a living sacrifice unto the Lord. The enemy can’t consume something holy and consecrated unto the Lord as his own, it isn’t his right.

You aren’t his offering to burn. It’s not unto him, but unto the Lord.

“For this reason, “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will embrace you.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭17‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The enemy of the Lord has strange fire; the Lord our God is a consuming fire. The enemy’s fire cannot consume you as his living sacrifice if you have consecrated yourself unto the Lord, holy and set apart, only our God who IS a consuming fire can do that. Hebrews 12:29 declares the nature, the identity of God to be a consuming fire, everything else is an imitation and a deception.

What is consuming you?

It’s probably a picture of what you have given yourself as an offering to in some way. Repent. Turn. And burn for the King of Glory.

Romans 12:1-2 is preaching the concept of the story found in Daniel chapter 3.

“Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? To surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship. Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.”

Pray with me..

Lord, I repent for giving myself as a sacrifice to any idol, and for letting myself be consumed by anything other than you. I commit myself to be a living sacrifice for you. I want to be consumed by your fire. Let the aroma of my worship be a sweet smell, and not the smell of the smoke coming from strange fire. Let my faith in you be a wrap-around shield against the fiery arrows of the enemy. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to burn for you. In the name of Jesus, I ask and declare these things so. Amen.

The truth is..

Holy fire is a choice, you either want it or you don’t.

For too long the church has been distracted, discouraged, doubtful, and deceived.

You’re either on fire, burning steady fuel, or you’re burning out.

It’s time to fan the flame, fuel the burn, and get consumed.

I am declaring that this will be the year that your fire doesn’t BURN OUT.

The word the Lord gave me for this year is CONSISTENCY.

Will it be easy? Absolutely not.

Will you have to steward the flame? Absolutely.

This year, your CONSISTENCY will fan the fire of revival, and it starts with you.

It will take dedication, determination, consistency, and resolve.

It will take everything you have at times, and at times it will be easy, and the Lord will carry you.

HOW?

You must DECIDE to allow the fire of God to consume you first.

God is a consuming fire. (Deuteronomy 4:24, Deuteronomy 9:3, Hebrews 12:29)

What does “consuming fire” mean?

Think of a wildfire. Relentless, powerful, and leaves nothing behind. It wastes no opportunity to devour anything consumable in its path.

It’s time to let him burn in this way within.

It’s time to allow him to remove the “dross”(impurities), and consume everything, in every way.

Will it happen overnight? No.

Will you have to choose him daily? Yes.

Will you have to put in work? Yes.

Is it worth it? Absolutely.

How will you keep going when you think you can’t?

Consistency and consecration.

At the end of the day, it’s a decision. Accountability and coaching helps.

What does this look like?

Discipleship. Accountability. Iron sharpening iron. Community. Connecting to the body of Christ Jesus. Not just talking about the fire, not just getting close to the fire - but letting the fire consume you.

You keep asking “but what if…?” and then you proceed to second guess the dreams and desires that God has placed in your heart.

Let me challenge your thinking today with a few “what if’s” from a different perspective.

What if being obedient, means doing the uncomfortable thing?

What if you avoid the uncomfortable under the guise of “I don’t want the spotlight”?

What if the uncomfortable thing puts you in the spotlight?

What if you have avoided the “spotlight” because it looks like the prideful thing to do, but you’re actually called to it?

What if the “spotlight” is God shining his light through you, to others?

What if the platform isn’t to elevate you, but HIM?

What if it’s not for your glory, but HIS?

What if the enemy has you so afraid to miss God, that you actually miss God?

What if the enemy has you so afraid of messing up, that you miss your calling?

What if you’re called to it because God knows you would steward it well?

What if you’re afraid that it’s going to be your responsibility?

What if it’s not?

What if God starts it, and you simply allow him to finish it?

What if you’re afraid to pay the price, because it will be costly?

What if he already paid the ultimate price and all you have to do is receive it?

What if being afraid to mess it up is actually fear of man in disguise?

What if fear of man is actually what is keeping you from everything God has for you?

What if the enemy came to steal, kill, and destroy the you that you aren’t yet, and he’s succeeding because you refuse to be a percieved version of “prideful” and won’t accept who you are called to be.

False humility is subtle.

Religion likes to contain the bold and fiery ones in a very small box, and if they don’t “submit” they get “whipped into shape” and eventually broken into pieces.

What if you were formed in your mother’s womb by Almighty God and were never meant to fit in that box? 📦

Break the mold! 🔨

Perspective is everything! 🍊 They will know you by your fruit, but they don’t always know the price you paid for it, and the growth under the surface that it takes to have the strength to bear it. Matthew 12:33

This is why faith without works is dead. I will show you my faith BY my works. James 2:18-26

What do you believe your harvest will be, how much movement toward that goal are you doing in faith believing for the harvest?

Harvest requires laborers! That’s why scripture says to pray that the Lord of the harvest will send laborers.
Matthew 9:37-38

But I tell you, you have to be willing to cry out,
“Here am I, SEND ME!” Isaiah 6:8

How many opportunities has God placed in front of you, that you MISSED, simply because you haven’t cried out to the Lord about it saying, “Lord, send me, I’m willing!”

Some of us need to be like Peter and say, Lord IF IT’S YOU, command me “COME!” And then listen for his command, READY TO MOVE! 🏃🏻‍♀️ Matthew 14:28

Step out of the boat Peter! Walking in faith with Jesus is better than being in a boat (safety & comfort) without him. I think you’ll find that walking with him to get back in the boat will empower you for greater impact.

It’s the faith, the obedience, and the intimacy in that picture that keeps me focused.

All hell may rage, but it won’t cause me to take my eyes off my King. I’ve locked eyes with my beloved and he’s coming for his bride. Now isn’t the time to look away or second guess or question.

Now is the time for the bridal walk. 👰🏻‍♀️

Will you move forward toward Jesus?

Or run from the altar?

🔥 BUSINESS 🔥

What does “business” mean in this scripture?

This is the ONLY time this version of business is used in the entire bible.

G4710 spǒudē: “speed” i.e. despatch (which means to send out), eagerness, earnestness: business, (earnest) care (-fullness), diligence, forwardness, haste.

So business, means BUSY-NESS with SPEED.

I can gather that I need to be about my Father’s business quickly. There is clearly a sense of urgency behind this scripture!

So, then what does “slothful” mean?

G3636 ǒknērǒs: tardy, i.e. indolent; irksome: grievous, slothful. This is derived from G3635 ǒkněō: hesitation, to be slow, delay.

What does this tell me?

If I am to do everything as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23), and this is ALSO what scripture says, then I am to move quickly, and not hesitate.

God has been speaking very clearly to me “it’s time to MOVE” so how do I move?

FORWARD WITHOUT DELAY.

What’s next?

Be FERVENT (G2204 zěō: to be HOT) in SPIRIT

SERVING (G1398 dǒulěuō: be a slave to, in bo***ge, SERVE) the LORD!

I hope this encourages you to move forward on kingdom business without delay and to be fired up spiritually about serving the Lord in the way he is leading and calling you to serve him! 💛

🔥 Today I think of David! 🔥

1 Samuel 30:2,8,18

Verse 2. The enemy had stolen from David what belonged to him, his wives, and sons and daughters had been taken. (Promises, blessings and INHERITANCE from the Lord)

Verse 8. David asked the Lord if he should pursue the enemy, and God said pursue! (Go after everything the enemy is trying to hold captive that belongs to you)

Verse 18. DAVID RECOVERED ALL (Enemy loses, God wins, therefore we win!)

So, today I ask you 3 questions.

1. What promises, blessings, and inheritance from God, is the enemy trying to steal from you?

2. Are you running after, and fighting for them?

3. What are you allowing to stop you from recovering ALL that God has promised you?

It’s time to remove every limitation placed on what God has called us to be!

It’s time for the lid of limitation to be thrown off and it’s time to let God move us spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially, into what he has for us in this season!

It’s time to MOVE! 🏃🏻‍♀️

What is holding you back from moving forward? The Lord is with you and is your strength! You shall run and not grow weary, you shall walk and not faint! 🔥

Sometimes a faith walk looks harder than it actually is, why is that? Because somewhere you have allowed your mind to believe a lie! If God is for you, who can be against you? Fear? Whom shall I fear? None but the Lord my God. Death? He conquered death, hell, and the grave! Lack? He is Jireh! He supplies all your needs according to his riches in glory!
