Hi everyone,

A few things.

1. Once again, due to incliment weather and the cold, we are unable to hold practice. Leadership is looking for an indoor location to transition to for the cold.

2. Season closer is coming up in November on the 15th! Check that event for deets!

3. The Shannara private group will be going away soon. All realm comms shall be through this page and our future social media accounts.

Due to incliment weather (rain) and the chill, we are going to call off practice today. Hope to see you all next week! If you want something to do, go see Sweeney Todd at the Orpheum today instead!

We checked in with the rest of leadership and all of them are either sick or taking care of a house full of sick people. None of leadership is available to meet today for practice and we we have other realm members who are also down with the gross.

As such, we are calling off practice for this week.

Our next event is this coming SATURDAY at MAGIC VALLEY COMIC CON. 12-4. Let’s plan on meeting for that.

A New Dawn for Our Realm — Welcome to Valemir ⚔️

After much thought, reflection, and conversation, we’ve made the decision to lay our old realm to rest and begin anew—under a new name, new banner, and new purpose.

Why?

Covid really wrecked Belegarth in the Magic Valley. Truth is that the realm survived on the backs of a few individuals from a financial persoective. A lot of people moved or got busy with other things, and there was so much that we just lost. It was determined that, perhaps, a step in a new direction is needed. It’s time to rebuild, not just what was—but what could be.

We’re rebuilding infrastructure to better support events, practices, and newcomers. We’re crafting new systems that make participation easier, more transparent, and more fun. And most importantly, we’re creating something we can all help shape—a fresh identity that reflects who we are now and who we want to be moving forward.

Valemir isn’t just a name. It’s a commitment to growth, unity, and shared purpose.

This is a chance to dream big. To build something strong. To fight beside each other in the field, create new lore and new stories, and work beside each other off it to make this realm one we’re proud to call home.

We hope you’ll join us.
