Congratulations to the EP Softball team for beating Champaign Holy Cross 10-5 in round one of the IESA 2A regional.

They advance to the semi-finals on Thursday at 4:30 in Gibson City vs Hoopeston!! Keep it up ladies!!

Congratulations to our East Prairie Athletes of the Week, Avery Cleland and Koen Shipley, representing our softball and baseball teams! 🥎⚾️ We are proud of all your hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship. Way to go, Avery and Koen!

Avery's coach says, "Avery has been dominating the mound for us this year. She has pitched 46.1 innings, only giving up 33 hits & has struck out 83 batters. She is a leader on the field for defense and a star in the batters box as well. She has a .590 batting average with 23 hits, 9 doubles & 5 triples. She has 22 RBI’s and has scored 23 runs herself. She has a wide range of softball knowledge that she continuously passes on to her teammates. She always has a positive attitude and cheers on her teammates. Keep it up Avery!"

Koen's coach says, "Koen threw a six-inning, complete game no-hitter against Tri County on Tuesday while allowing one run and navigating some walks. It was a very resilient performance that gave his team a huge lift and saved some arms."

Congratulations to our TCHS Athletes of the Week, Gwen Boyd and Hayden Smith, representing our volleyball teams! 🏐 We are proud of all your hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship. Way to go, Gwen and Hayden!

Gwen's coach says, "Gwen has worked incredibly hard all season and brings high level enthusiasm, energy, and encouragement to our team. On Monday, that hard work earned her her first varsity start. She is a positive influence, great teammate, and someone who makes those around her better. Gwen is a shining example of what happens when you give your best, embrace the grind, and bring a positive attitude, opportunities will come."

Hayden's coach says, "Hayden has been such an important part of our JV offense this year. She sets such a great example as a setter and a leader for all girls on and off the court. She has also stepped up on the varsity court in big moments in the last week and makes a big impact on all levels. Keep it up Hayden, we are so proud of you and can’t wait to continue to watch you grow this year!!!"

TAILGATE PRICE UPDATE

We want to take a moment to share a quick update regarding our tailgate prices. Due to the rising cost of food and supplies, we have had to make some changes to our tailgate pricing.

Moving forward, we will be doing away with our meal deal, and all food and drinks will be available à la carte. This change will allow us to continue offering our tailgate favorites while keeping up with the increased cost of ingredients and supplies.

We truly appreciate your continued support of our athletes and the Tuscola PowWows. Every purchase helps us support our student athletes, and we are so grateful for this community that continues to show up and support them.
