Ok so tonight’s deer hunt ended with something I may ever do again. As it’s getting dusk John Crossman and myself see a c**n walking towards the feeder at 180 yards and I brought my FX impact in 30 cal with me. The farthest I’ve “shot” with it was a couple holdover finders for 140 yards before. Well I figure heck I’ll give it a try and adjusted my hold to the bottom triangle of my reticle, no wind so I need no hold over left or right and I squeeze the trigger. One second, two second. Whapp!! The c**n falls over and starts floppin and John and I look at each other in utter amazement. Never in a million years would I think I would be able to guesstimate the drop on a pellet gun at 180 yards and dang near Earhole an animal. It was pure luck with maybe one percent skill. And I’m glad I had a witness to prove my story is true.
