🚨WHAT A WEEK IT HAS BEEN🚨

First and foremost, I want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out to my family over the past week regarding the birth of our daughter.

The amount of love and support we have received has been overwhelming. It means more than I can put into words that members of our community, our football family, our school, and so many others have taken the time to reach out with congratulations, thoughts, and prayers.

My wife and I are incredibly grateful for every message and every prayer. Right now, our biggest hope is that our little girl continues to get stronger so we can get her out of the NICU and bring her home soon.

I also want to apologize for my absence during the Panther Valley game. As much as I love this football program and being on that sideline with our guys, my family needed me during that time. I cannot thank our coaching staff, players, administration, and everyone who stepped up enough for their understanding and support.

And then there was last night.

Our TEAM gutted out an incredibly tough, hard-fought game against a very good Montrose team that came in at 4-1.

What made me most proud wasn’t just the final score.

It was how we did it.

Nobody quit. Nobody pointed fingers. Nobody cared who received the credit. When adversity hit, our guys kept fighting. They believed in one another, picked each other up, and came together as ONE TEAM.

That was a TEAM victory in every sense of the word.

Every player who stepped onto that field. Every teammate on the sideline. Every coach who spent countless hours preparing these young people. Every person behind the scenes who continues to give their time and energy to this program played a part in that moment.

I could not be prouder of our players.

But we also understand that one win cannot make us complacent. We have to stay hungry. We have to keep working. We have to lock back in and understand that there is still a lot of football left to play and a lot left for this team to accomplish.

Last night showed these young people what they are capable of when they believe in each other, play for each other, and refuse to quit.

Now we build on it.

Finally, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to our players for continuing to believe. Thank you to our staff for everything they pour into these kids. Thank you to our families, school, and community for continuing to stand behind us.

Tunkhannock is a special place, and this football program means more to me than most people will ever know. I am beyond thankful and incredibly proud to be the Head Football Coach of the Tunkhannock Tigers.

I love this team.
I love this school.
I love this community.
