16U • 106 lbs division in both styles Freestyle & Greco-Roman.

🔴⚪ UNION WRESTLING ⚪🔴

We are excited to announce the return of Nic Roller to the Union Wrestling staff!

A former state champion under Coach Jefferson in 2016, Coach Roller was a 4-time State Qualifier, 3-time State Medalist, and 2-time State Finalist during his outstanding high school wrestling career. He was a key contributor to two football state championships (2014/2015) as well.

He began his coaching career with the Redhawks during the 2022-23 season and now returns to where it all started.

Coach Roller will serve as the Boys Junior High Head Coach while also assisting with the High School Boys Wrestling program.

Bringing a wealth of wrestling knowledge, passion, and leadership, Coach Roller is a tremendous addition to our staff, and we are excited to welcome him back to the Redhawk Family.

Union Wrestling is proud to recognize Max Koehler for earning NHSCA Academic All-American honors.
This national distinction is awarded to student-athletes who excel on the mat and in the classroom while maintaining a 3.50+ cumulative GPA. Max continues to exemplify the discipline, commitment, and work ethic that define our program.

True success is measured not only by victories, but also by leadership, character, and academic achievement—and Max represents all three at a high level.

We are proud of this accomplishment and grateful for the example he sets for his teammates and our program.

We’re excited to announce that Coach Kyle Ash is coming home to join our staff! From dominating the mat at Union High School to coaching at the collegiate level, Coach Ash brings elite experience, leadership, and a championship mindset back to where it all started.

His accomplishments speak for themselves:
• 158-24 career hs record
• 2011 Individual State Champion
• 4x State Medalist
• Junior Fargo Greco-Roman All-American
• Former assistant coach at Ouachita Baptist University
• Former Division I wrestler at Gardner-Webb University
• Inducted into the Union Athletics Hall of Fame

Coach Ash has built a legacy through hard work, discipline, and passion for the sport, and we’re proud to welcome one of Union’s finest back home.
