Elayna Ernst tied for 14th place at State in the pole vault. Elayna showed tremendous courage today. On her 2nd attempt of the day, her pole snapped. In fact, it broke with such force that part of her pole landed more than 100 feet away from where she planted her pole. She had the courage to keep vaulting. It takes a great deal of determination to want to leave the ground again after that. The good news is she is only a sophomore and we look forward to more success in the pole vault!

Today didn't go as planned for the Lady Trojans but we are extremely proud of the accomplishments of the season! State results:
Adler Dues, Fiona Battle, Avyn Sp****la, McKenna Lynch - 4x800 Relay - 16th
Amahni Afzal - 11th - Shot Put
Livi Luciano - 16th - High Jump
Savannah Murray - 18th - 100 hurdles
Davonna Harris, Avery Noll, Lauren Perry, Aubrey Jones - 4x200 & 4x100 - 10th place

We look forward to competing tomorrow morning with Pole Vaulters, TJ Murray, Elayna Ernst & Kennedy Harlamert and 110m Hurdles Michael Tucker, 1600m run Zadok Reeves and 800m run Fiona Battle!
