Today is our first day of Trojan Running Club from 4:30-5:00pm! All students in 3rd through 6th grade our welcome! We will meet at the Gazebo on top of the levee just south of Troy Memorial Stadium.

It's not too late to join the Troy Junior High Cross Country team. For parents and athletes going to the Troy Junior High Open House tonight (5:30-7:30pm), stop by and see Coach Snyder in room 110 if you are interested in joining the team. The deadline to sign up is this Friday, August 21st. Can't make it to Open House and still interested, email Coach Snyder at [email protected].

The Troy Cross Country and Track & Field teams share the same Parents Booster Organization. Supporting the Troy XC Mum Sale would also be supporting the Track & Field program. Last year the Troy XC and Track and Field Boosters gave out over $10,000 to graduating seniors. Supporting this fundraiser helps us continue to give back to student-athletes! Thanks for your support!

The Troy Cross Country program has begun its annual mum sale. Check out the attached picture for colors and pictures of the mums that are available. Each flower comes in a 9" pot and costs $10. If you would like to purchase, please make sure we receive your order and payment by August 24th. You can email Coach Kurt Snyder at [email protected] to place an order and arrange payment. Pick up will be at Troy Memorial Stadium from 2:30-5:30pm on Wednesday, September 2nd near the scoreboard. We have changed our mum provider to Amherst Greenhouse and the mums are bigger this year, but we kept the cost at $10 each. Thank you for your support!

TJ Murray added his name to the Troy Track & Field record board as the new Pole Vault school record holder! TJ cleared 15'9" this season on his way to earning All-Ohio Honors and All American Honors! Congratulations TJ and Coach Roger Bowen! Previous record was held by Nathan Fleischer at 15'2".

Fiona Battle added her name to the record board, breaking the 800m run school record this season by 2.5 seconds with a time of 2:15.29! Previous record was held by Morgan Gigandet with a time of 2:17.71!

Gabryel Brown, Braden Boyer, Michael Tucker & Kayden Franklin added their names to the record board after dropping the previous 4x200 relay school record by more than 2 seconds throughout the season. They finished with an amazing time of 1:27.89!

Michael Tucker updated the record board for the 2nd year in a row after breaking his own school record from in the 110m high hurdles on his way to a 3rd place State championship finish in a time of 14.02!

Kayden Franklin added his name to the record board, breaking the school record in the 100m dash this spring with a blazing time of 10.68 seconds!
