Parents: although practices aren’t mandatory! Max participation would be appreciated! Numbers keep dwindling and kids are missing out on important learning! Not only are they missing technique but also us coaches struggle to coach them at tournaments if we don’t see them at practice!

The tournament is now live and listed on pywrestling.com. Mark your calendars for March 1, 2026. As the W**d-Parker memorial tournament will be happening! Troy wrestlers; there will be a sign up sheet posted in the mat room very soon. I need your name, age, weight and experience. Also invite any other youth wrestlers to sign up!

Parents: it is our time to shine, none of this is possible without the generous donations to concessions, or the donation of everyone’s time. If everyone could donate some sort of concession item(water, Gatorade, soda, candy bars, individual chips) that would be greatly appreciated. Will also need admission, concession, and table worker help. An online sign up sheet will be generated here shortly please sign up!

Optional practice for our advanced kids on Friday Jan 30, 2026. 5:30-7.

That said, Parents please discuss with the younger newer kids that practice is for practicing, we need to minimize the goofing off and fooling around. It is taking a lot of time away from the kids who want to learn.
