We've got some BIG news from East Lawrence ESports!

Congratulations to Payton Foster-McLean on receiving an ESports scholarship offer from Huntingdon Esports to continue competing in Mario Kart 8! 🏎️🎓

This one means a lot.

When we talk about building East Lawrence ESports, we've always wanted it to be about more than simply playing video games. We want our players to compete, improve, represent East Lawrence, build relationships, and create opportunities for what comes next.

This is one of those opportunities.

Every race. Every time trial. Every practice. Every tournament. Every trip. Every time Payton lined up against some of the best competition we could find — it mattered.

Now a college has taken notice. 👀

We're extremely proud of Payton and excited to see what comes next for him. And for every younger Eagle in our program, let this be another reminder:

There is a next level in Esports. 🎓🎮

Keep practicing. Keep competing. Keep getting better.

📢 UPDATE: Due to field maintenance still being completed, Meet the Eagles has been postponed.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to prepare our facilities for the upcoming season. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone on August 25th!

The wait is almost over! Join us this Friday, August 7th, as we officially kick off the 2026-2027 athletic season at Meet the Eagles!

Come out and meet the student-athletes, coaches, and teams who will proudly represent East Lawrence High School this fall. It's a great opportunity to celebrate our Eagles, show your school spirit, and get excited for another incredible year of competition!

What an incredible day! Thank you UAH Esports for inviting us to your Quantum Cup! We had a blast competing in Smash, showcasing Mario Kart, and watching Marvel Rivals!

We want to comgratulate Corey Thompson and Payton Foster for placing 1st and 2nd in the Mario Kart Showcase match! It was a great way to start off our day!

We also want to congratulate Aubrey Grace and Jeffery Merone for finishing Top 8 in Smash Bros. And Bryson Causey finished in 2nd Place for the Smash Bros. Tournament!

Great job to the entire East Lawrence team today! We are proud to see you bring home some hardware this summer!

We are having a blast at the Quantum Cup hosted by UAH Esports! Thank you for featuring our team as the Showcase for the Mario Kart event. And congrats on Corey Thompson and Payton Foster for bringing home First and Second place!
