Good Morning EYBA Families!

Our board held our first open forum last night and we wanted to make sure that we addressed some questions that came up. The information below will also show you the different divisions that we are offering this year:

🏀Recreation League (2nd-6th)🏀

•Participates in the CPYBL organization
•Teams will be formed via a snake draft chose by the coaches
•Approximately 10 games with the opportunity to participate in a few tournaments throughout the season. (5 away games and 5 home games)
•Season starts the first weekend of December
•Games will be at Edgewood and surrounding schools pending who each team is designated to play that day
•Travel could be up to 60 minutes from the Trenton area for away games
•Games will take place on Saturday or Sunday at various times pending school availability
•Cost is $160

🔵Select League (2nd-6th)🔵

•Participates in the Dayton Metro League
•Tryout required
•Teams will play 20-25 games with an end of season tournament
•Games on Saturday and Sunday
•Traveling up to 90 minutes from Trenton Ohio for away games
•Cost is $255

🏀Pre-K/K and 1st Grade🏀
•In house league
•First graders will have the opportunity to play up if desired
•Games played at Edgewood on Saturdays
•Cost is $100

If you’re interested in coaching a Select Team this upcoming season please send us a message to grab a spot in our interview process. *This interview process is required for all candidates, including previous season coaches.*

We are seeking dedicated leaders that will represent the EYBBA with integrity, sportsmanship and a commitment to player development. We look forward to meeting with all interested candidates!

Don’t forget! You have 6 days left to reach out with interest in one of the THREE seats available for the basketball board. The three available are:
Select Director- oversees the select program, responsible for communication with the league and scheduling games within the program.
Concessions Director- this is a new seat for us! Oversees all purchasing and inventory of concession snacks/drinks.
Game Day Director- Oversees all home games. Making sure there is adequate coverage at each location and handles any problems that may arise.
