🏈 OH, WHAT A NIGHT! 🧡🖤🧡
Last night, McKendree University opened its stadium to Wesclin for our first “home” game of the season, and we are incredibly grateful for their hospitality! A special thank you to Patrick and his crew for working hard to make the evening run smoothly.
Before kickoff, we were proud to recognize and celebrate our Junior Warrior Football and Cheer squads! 🧡🖤🧡
There are so many people who helped make the night a success:
Thank you to the Wesclin Football Parents for transporting all of the concessions to the game!
👏Thank you to our amazing fans for coming out and supporting the team.
Thank you to our press box workers for traveling and adapting to a new setup.
📣 Thank you to the Wesclin High School Cheer and Dance squads for traveling and bringing the Warrior spirit!
🚑 Thank you to MedStar Ambulance for providing support throughout the evening.
🏈 Thank you to Nashville High School for being flexible with the move to McKendree.
And finally, thank you to the players from both teams for giving us a great game, even in the sweltering heat!
The Warriors hit the road next Friday as we travel to Dupo for our first conference game of the season!
Then, on Friday, September 18, we are looking forward to being back HOME against Chester as we celebrate the completion of all the exciting updates to our stadium! 🎉🏟️
