Open Gym tomorrow 6:30-8:30. Really putting an emphasis on getting some new people in the gym. If you are on the fence about playing volleyball, come out and give it a try. Open Gyms are a great time to come out and see if Volleyball is something that you may be interested in doing during High School. We are also opening Open Gyms up to Eighth Grade Boys for the remainder of the Summer as well.

Parents,
We are officially at the start of our off-season conditioning. We are super excited to welcome players back into the gym tomorrow and hopefully see lots of new faces. If your child is new and not in our group chats, the open gym tomorrow will be at the High School and will run from 6:30-8:30. The side door on the gym will be open near the Event Entrance. With the pay to play fee still in effect, we think it is highly beneficial to get athletes in the gym now so that they can see if volleyball is a path they would like to pursue. Open Gym is open to all EHS students in grades 9-12 and is additionally open to Middle School students upon request of the parents or athletes (we really just would like a heads up if middle schoolers are planning to attend!)

If you know other parents in our program, please have them join this page as this will be a key way that I will be communicating information out to our parents.

Parents,
I wanted to send out one last reminder about our Fundraiser meeting tomorrow. We will be meeting at 6pm in the Intermediate School Media Center after open gym. It would be beneficial if your athletes were present during this meeting in addition to you.

To get to the Media Center, enter in the school through the front doors and walk straight to the lobby area, the door on the right is the media center.

Remember, all funds raised with this fundraiser will go back to help pay your athletes pay to play fees.

Parents, I have finally locked in a fundraiser. This will be taking place for the entire month of December. I wanted to give a slight heads up so you can plan ahead, we will be having an informational meeting for the fundraiser November 27th, after our Open Gym at EIS in my classroom. Should you and your athlete plan to participate in this fundraiser, you will need to be present at the meeting. All money that you raise for this fundraiser will go directly back to your athlete to help offset costs for their pay to play fee. The best part... You could even raise enough to cover the entirety of the fee!

Parents- This Friday is our turn to help run the concession stand at the football game. We are required to help out and provide 4 volunteers in order for boosters to give money to the program. We currently only have 1 parent who has volunteered to work concessions, if you are able please reach out to me or let your athlete know so that they can text us!

We need some parents to volunteer to run the concession stand at the football game on October 20th. All sports have to run it at least once. This is required in order for boosters to give money towards the volleyball program. If you are able to help out, please contact Coach Blair or Coach Snively.

Senior Parents- Right now is typically the time when everyone starts getting senior pictures done, so just in preparation for things to come as we get closer to the season such as senior shout outs and other things, if you would please send me a few of your favorite senior pictures that would be awesome. I have most of you on my personal facebook and have already seen some of them and they look great! You can either send them to me via text (all of your players have my phone number) or you can email them to me at [email protected]

We are super excited to get our Open Gyms back up and rolling now that the no contact period has ended. We will be having an Open Gym this Sunday at EHS from 6:30p-8:30p. All High Schoolers and 7th and 8th Graders are welcome to attend!

Parents, I have had a few of you reaching out to me about fundraising for the upcoming season to help pay the pay to play fee for volleyball. We are currently in contact with the athletic department to see what we are allowed to do and how we go about getting it approved by the school. While I have no doubt that all of you will be more than glad to help fundraise to offset costs, I did want to keep you all in the loop. I will hopefully have more details for all of you in September about a fundraiser that will hopefully take place in October and we will have a formal meeting at the high school to discuss it!
