"Been focused on night fishing lately. Got my first Florida 40” Snook and from a kayak. Got me around a snag early in the fight. Had to jump in four feet of water and a miracle getting her out.

Woah!!! Amazing catch!🎣🤜🤛

Roughly 20 years ago today, Judy Heidt landed this massive 22.25-kilogram (49-pound) Atlantic snook to set the IGFA Women’s 10-kg (20 lb) Line Class Record for the species. Judy caught this record snook while fishing a white bucktail in the Parismina river on the east coast of Costa Rica 🇨🇷. She was able to hook into the fish near the river mouth and after a 25-minute battle, had the fish boatside. This fish is the largest Atlantic snook ever caught by a female angler.
