You may have spotted a new face in Daniil Medvedev’s coaching box. 👀 Meet Andrey Golubev, former ATP singles No. 33, who made history in 2010 by winning Kazakhstan’s first-ever ATP Tour singles title in the Open Era at the Hamburg ATP 500.

The win launched him to a career-high ranking and earned him Most Improved Player of the Year voted by his fellow players.

Now, he’s bringing his experience to Medvedev’s team as Daniil takes on the Shanghai Masters semi-finals.

When it comes to his game, Golubev’s racquet of choice is the Solinco Blackout V2, strung with a Tour Bite x Vanquish hybrid. 🎾

From making history on the court to helping shape the next chapter of a Grand Slam champion’s career, Golubev’s story has come full circle.
