Bookings are open for the 2026–27 waterfowl season.

It all starts the same way each year—cool mornings, coffee in the dark, and the anticipation of that first group of birds.

Some hunts stay with you forever. Some are hard-earned. All of them are worth it.

That’s waterfowl hunting.

Out here, we focus on what matters—private ground, private groups, and a well-run hunt. Just your crew, good company, and time in the blind.

Dates tend to fill up faster than you think each season.

If you’re ready to be part of it, send me a message or give me a call 620-687-2650

As we wrap up another season here at Ranch Country Waterfowl, I wanted to share this end-of-year video and say thank you to everyone who came and hunted with us.

This season had a little bit of everything — a strong start, some incredible early hunts, and then a tougher, slower grind as the season went on. Through it all, we were lucky to share the blind with great people, great families, and some unforgettable groups.

We truly appreciate every single one of you who trusted us with your hunting adventure. Whether the birds were flying hard or we were grinding it out, we hope you still had a great time, made memories, and enjoyed the experience.

Thank you for supporting Ranch Country Waterfowl, for the laughs, the stories, the patience, and the good times in the blind. We can’t wait to have you back and show you what this place is capable of in a good season.

If you’ve got photos or videos from your hunt with us this season, drop them in the comments below — we’d love to see them!
See you next year. 🦆👊

This season has tested everyone’s patience. Long sits, slow flights, and a whole lot of waiting. The Ford group rolled with every bit of it, kept great attitudes, and stayed ready for the few opportunities that came our way. When those chances finally showed up, they made every bird count.

That’s real duck hunting — grinding it out, enjoying the time in the blind, and making the most of what the day gives you instead of what you wish it would.

I can’t thank these guys enough for trusting the process and hunting with us during one of the tougher seasons we’ve seen. We can’t wait to have them back next season and show them what this ranch is really capable of in a good year. The birds will come, and when they do, it’s going to be special.

Year 5 for the Dorothy crew and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 👊🦆

The birds have been tough and the hunting has been a grind this year, but these guys show up every time with the right attitude and make the most of it no matter what. Long sits, cold blinds, slow flights… and still plenty of laughs, stories, and memories made.

One of the best parts is that my son always gets to come out and help guide these guys. Pretty special watching him grow up in the blind and learn from a group like this.
We scratched out some birds, watched the dog do his thing, and enjoyed another great camp with even better people. That’s what it’s really about.

Appreciate you guys more than you know. Already looking forward to Year 6.

Chasing these dang birds and all the driving this time of year put me a little behind on posts 😅

This is the Potts group from Tennessee. Great group of guys, and this was Joey’s second trip to the ranch. The hunting was tough, but these guys never once let it get them down. They kept great attitudes, put in the time, and scratched several out over three days.

That’s what it’s all about — grinding it out, good company, and making the most of every hunt. Appreciate you guys making the trip and trusting Ranch Country Waterfowl again. 👊🦆

Year 3 in a row with Greg and Keith at the ranch and it’s always good to have these guys back.
This season has been the toughest one I can ever remember. With how warm it’s been, we’ve been grinding for every single bird. Long sits, slow flights, and no easy hunts. We may not be stacking limits, but we’re still getting it done — scratching a few out, sharing a lot of laughs, and making memories in the blind.

That’s why they call it hunting, not killing.

These guys understand what it’s all about — the grind, the stories, the coffee, the dogs, and just being out here doing what we love. I can’t thank Greg and Keith enough for making the trip back for a third year and keeping the right attitude even when conditions are tough.

Some seasons test you more than others… and this one has definitely been a test. But days like these remind me why we do it.
