Proud that we as a team can care about our community!
This evening about 25 volunteers gathered together at the Bonner Springs Library to assemble blessing bags to distribute to the homeless and those in need in the community. We packed 59 bags. We even had a softball team join us tonight! Ben's Blessing Bags is an independent ministry lead by myself and my good friend Susan Mays. It is sponsored by her business JP Mays Realty. We started this ministry a year and a half ago and we are continuing to grow and thrive. If you would like to volunteer with us, please reach out. We gather about 3 times a year at various locations for an evening of service, laughter and meeting new friends. Our next gathering will be early October. Join us!!
