The Eighth annual Support the Troops Fundraiser and Care Package drive is set for
Sunday October 9th, 2016 4:15 PM to 7:15 PM and is quickly approaching. Over the last seven
years with the help of donations from local sponsors we have been able to raise over $30,000 to send care packages to Soldiers deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other areas around the world since the inception of this fundrai
ser. The scope is not limited to these countries and we look forward to sending many more packages this year. Our goal is to send as many care packages to the troops to help them in any way
possible. We put on this event at this time of the year so the soldiers will receive the packages before Veteran's day. We use the donations received from local organizations in a Chinese auction and then draw out winners. Last year we were able to give away an Ultra HD TV, limo services, bikes, Bills and Sabres tickets and gear, gym memberships, and numerous other donations, but those were only some of the highlights. We would be greatly appreciative of any donation that you would be able to give. Additionally we ask one more favor of you, and that is to help us by providing the name and
address of at least one soldier, and if you have more even better. This will help us ensure we
