Alright… here’s how we actually found the Aaron Rodgers set.
Last day in Kansas. We were heading to one more spot to put in a little OT — what Cody was calling our last Hail Mary before calling it a trip.
Honestly, we weren’t expecting much at that point. We knew we were a little early and had already put in the miles.
On the way to the next spot, Cody spots something on the side of the road.
A shed… just laying there in the ditch.
At first it didn’t even make sense. After walking 171.8 miles, there was no way something like that was just sitting there. He thought he was seeing things… or that someone was messing with us.
We pulled over, still not believing it.
Then about 50 yards down the road…
There was the other side.
A matched set, just laying there like it was meant to happen.
Looks like this guy jumped the fence toward the road and decided to leave both sides right there for us.
After a trip where we felt a little early and came up short on our goal, that moment completely turned it around.
Safe to say… that Hail Mary paid off.
