🏆 TEAM ILLINOIS 16U SETS SIGHTS ON NATIONAL DUALS SUCCESS IN UTAH 🏆

After an outstanding performance at last year's USA Wrestling 16U National Duals, Team Illinois heads back to Utah with its eyes firmly set on reaching even greater heights.
In 2025, Team Illinois proved it belonged among the nation's elite, earning a 3rd Place finish in Greco-Roman and a 5th Place finish in Freestyle, establishing itself as one of the premier state teams in the country. Now, a new group of talented wrestlers is ready to continue that tradition.

The 2026 Team Illinois 16U National Dual Team is loaded with talent from top to bottom. The roster features some of Illinois' best young wrestlers, including top finishers from the Illinois Freestyle State Championships, Illinois Greco-Roman State Championships, the prestigious USA Wrestling Open, and the Northern Plains Regional Championships.

Combined with an experienced and dedicated coaching staff, Team Illinois will enter both the Freestyle and Greco competitions with the depth, skill, and determination needed to compete with the nation's best.

The journey begins with team camp this weekend before the squad heads west to Farmington, Utah, where they will battle many of the top 16U teams from across the United States.

Last year's team set a high standard.

This year's team is ready to raise the bar.
